Procedure of Admission for Foreign Nationals in Master's Program of IISWBM, Kolkata, India

I. Admission through ICCR Scholarship Scheme

To avail of this scheme where the cost of education etc. will be borne by the Federal Govt., foreign nationals need to apply to their respective country's High Commission/ Embassy / Consulate at New Delhi, India, wherefrom they will be able to access all such relevant information.

II. Admission of Self-Financed Foreign National

  • Individual will apply -

    Application to be made mentioning the name of the Program / Course he/she seeks admission in.

  • Such Application shall be accompanied with necessary enclosures viz. copy of Passport, Passport Size Photograph 06 numbers, all documents pertaining to educational qualification such as mark sheets of qualifying examination, the Degree certificate / Transcript / pedagogy etc.
  • The documents shall be Notarized or authenticated/ attested by competent person at appropriate level of their country.
  • On receipt of Application and all documents as above, the Institute (IISWBM) will, in its turn, forward the same to the Registrar of Calcutta University for 'Equivalence' assessment.
  • Upon receipt of NOC (No Objection Certificate) from Registrar, Calcutta University, the Institute will issue Admission instruction including Selection Notice to the candidate.
  • Now the candidate will arrange for VISA etc. for his/her onward journey to India and shall report to this Institute in good time to resume study within stipulated date/s.
  • The Candidate may be required to take GMAT (optional) before completion of study.

** Please note that medium of instruction/ teaching at IISWBM is English, and in the event of Transcript of educational qualification written in a language other than English, it should be accompanied with certified English version of the document.
