Eligibility
Graduate in Engineering/Science or its equivalent from recognized University or Diploma in Engineering recognized by AICTE or Board of Technical Education.
High risk buildings, commercial complexes, IT sector, multiplex, medical institutes and nursing homes, industrial establishments in the large as well as MSME sectors must have modern fire safety system and monitoring practice on a regular basis as per the West Bengal Fire Service Act, 1950 amended in 1996. The course, Advanced Diploma in Fire Safety Management, was introduced by IISWBM first time in the eastern region of the country, in keeping with the Government of West Bengal’s objectives to provide employment in the fields hitherto uncovered having great societal needs.

The applicants for the admission to the Fire Safety Management Course short-listed on the basis of academic performance would be required to appear for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Total strength of the students to be admitted is 30 (Thirty) only for Day course.
Graduate in Engineering/Science or its equivalent from recognized University or Diploma in Engineering recognized by AICTE or Board of Technical Education.
Candidates shall preferably be employed at the time of admission.
